2013 ALL THE TRIMMINGS HOLIDAY SHOW

Hope you can make it to our annual holiday show at the Chelsea Fairgrounds Saturday, December 7th from 10-4pm!  We're working on Santas, mice, sleds, snowmen, and other Christmas-y creatures.  As usual, with every purchase you will receive a free carving.  Feel free to bring a friend or two!  Don't miss this festive occasion which provides talented vendors, a welcoming atmosphere, and great food!

2013 HALLOWEEN SHOW

Come join me at my home/studio for my first Halloween show!  It will be Friday, September 27 from 12-7pm and Saturday, September 28 from 9am-6pm.  I will have many new Halloween creations as well as my traditional carvings.  We look forward to celebrating the holiday with you!

2013 FALL OPEN HOUSE AND HALLOWEEN SHOWS!

It's time for my annual Fall Open House, Saturday, September 14, from 9am-5pm, and
Sunday, September 15, from 10am-5pm.  I will have lots of new birds, animals, plaques, and
fall items, plus a few Halloween pieces. 

 And for the first time ever, I will also have a Halloween show two weeks later on Friday, September 27, from 12-7pm and Saturday, September 28, from 9am-6pm.  The wonderful Ghoultide Gathering will be at Chelsea Fairgrounds on Saturday, so I thought I would open up my house too, in case anyone would like to see my carvings.  I am only 2-1/2 miles from the fairgrounds at 5465 Conway Road, so it is an easy jaunt out into the Chelsea countryside.  Enjoy the Ghoultide Gathering, charming downtown Chelsea, and my home/studio, a black timber-frame reproduction saltbox.    Hope to see you here!

ARTWALK ANN ARBOR, JUNE 21,2013

Join us Friday, June 21, from 5-8 pm at 16 Hands Gallery, 2nd Floor, Kerrytown, Ann Arbor, for the Artwalk Ann Arbor. We will be demonstrating our carving, as well as displaying many of our carvings.

SPRING AND EASTER CARVINGS

Here are some of the best sellers at the Spring open house - bunnies, chicks, eggs and carrots - what else at Easter? The primitive bunny from the postcard was the most popular, with the garden bunny a close second. The egg carts were a hit too! I used to struggle with Easter, but I feel better each year about my bunnies and eggs.

FIRST SPRING OPEN HOUSE

Thanks to everyone who came to my first spring open house! We were lucky that the weather cooperated enough that no one had to trudge through deep mud to get into the house. You just never know what it is going to be like in March in Michigan. Easter items were the big sellers. Bunnies, chicks, carrots and eggs! I guess I will continue this new tradition next year!
