I am a woodcarver who lives with my husband, John, who also carves with me in our reproduction black timber frame saltbox on farmland outside the village of Chelsea, Michigan. I have been carving since 1985, starting slowly, and in 1997 was featured in Country Home Magazine which really launched me into a fulltime business with my husband. We have been working constantly ever since, with dealers and customers in all parts of the US.
Here are my 2010 Spring birds! Just waiting to be adopted by you. All are priced at $35, except for the Cooper's hawk and Wood duck which are $45, and the Oystercatcher and Scissor-tailed flycatcher which are $50. They can be either standing or hanging. Shipping is $5.00.
Your choices for today are the Tri-color Collie or the Siberian Husky. My vote is for the collie, since our family dog is Belle, a wonderful, relaxed, yet alert tri-color who has warned us many times when our horse has escaped. Anyone moving too fast or not in their normal location has to be reported to us.
